Dr AJ van Wyk is an Orthopaedic Surgeon affiliated with Netcare The Bay Hospital in Richards Bay. His offices are conveniently situated on the ground floor, just past the Coffee shop. 

He has a General Orthopaedic practice with special interests in Trauma, Arthroscopic, Sports and Reconstructive ( Hip, Knee and Shoulder replacement)  Surgery. He works with a dedicated Theater team, Physiotherapists, Occupational therapist, Biokinetesit and Orthotist to ensure your optimal recovery and outcome.

He takes a personal approach to your orthopaedic condition and only considers surgical management once conservative avenues have been fully explored.

His friendly and effective office personnel will provide a professional, yet personal service in which all your administrative needs will be catered.

He Regulary attends overseas and local meetings to keep up to date with the newest trearment modalities and Surgical technique.

We are contracted in with the Majority of Medical aids and only charge medical aid rates or equivalent fees. Gap cover is encouraged.We still continue to provide care for Workman's Compensation cases – despite the difficulties the fund is experiencing at present.
